We did the experiment in the park. I think I simultaneously hear the voice and see the hands down. And I think my result is not accurate as I think the time I react and press the stop button is also included in the time.

I already know how to do recordings in logic pro, so that’s a good advantage of me. But my recording quality is low. I do not how to make my voice clearer even though I have a mic. The quality of using a mic is even worse than the quality of using an iPhone.

I adjusted the playback rate.

When it is lower than 1, the overall pitch goes lower. When it is higher than 1, the overall pitch goes higher. I think this will be important as if I suddenly want my music tempo faster, I adjust the master clock then the pitch and the quality of the sound will be changed. That might not what I wanted.

Analogue recording devices

I have heard the Leon Scott ‘s recording of the music scale. I find that the pitch isalmost standard, but the quality of the sound is low.

Look back to the history, I think the covid period is also let the recording industry grown up as people cannot went to the concert or live. They can only listen to music at home.

Positive:

  1. easier access to music
  2. more creative possibilities for everyone.

Negative:

  1. Revenue loss
  2. Lower sound quality. -MP3 has lower sound quality than WAV..

If audience expected the music is free, the financial statement of musicians will be less.
